Trekking & Adventure

Trekking With us

Extremely well organised providing transport, permits and with very knowledgeable guides. We always stayed in the better tea houses and our guides were always very attentive to our needs. Always good natured with a great sense of humour and always able to match the trip to the ability of the participants. We have now been on 5 treks with them and wouldn’t think of going with anyone else.

These are just some of the classic treks that will be customized to your schedule, ability and interests.

  • The Everest Region, including Gokyo Lakes and Kala Patar is one of Nepal’s most popular, iconic trek. For their first trek in the Himalaya, most people choose the Everest Region to get close to the world’s highest mountains and valleys. The longest trek in this region, takes you to high elevations, but also can be completely customized to be shorter and less challenging.
  • Annapurna Sanctuary trek begins outside of the charming lakeside town of Pokhara, with lowland bamboo forests and rhododendrons before making it up through the Modi Khola Gorge into the mountain amphitheater that is the Annapurna Sanctuary. This high glacial basin is wild Himalayan country ringed by ten of the most impressive peaks in Nepal.
  • The Ruby Valley trek is a lesser known (advanced) route central Nepal is a hidden valley between Langtang and Manaslu, where you experience authentic local culture, staying in home and interact with locals residing in region.
  • The Mardi Himal trek meanders through the foothills of the Annapurna region before entering lichen-laden dense jungles which lead to the alpine meadows above (important habitat for undisturwildlife) with stupendous views of the high Himalayan peaks beyond. Numerous quaint stone-built villages, cultivated fields, streams and waterfalls are encountered in this natural habitat along the way.
  • The Upper Mustang Trek takes you to a remote, ancient Buddhist kingdom. Desert-like Mustang has long been protected from mass tourism and is now known as the last bastion of traditional Tibetan culture.
  • We are also the leading tour operator for Tibet. In addition to Lhasa, consider including Lake Namtso. Tibetan for ‘Heavenly Lake’, is often described as being next to heaven because of its lofty altitude, stunning beauty, pure blue water, and spiritual associations. It is the highest saltwater lake in the world, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and open grassland, dotted with yak herds and local nomads, surround the crystal clear water of the lake, making it one of the most beautiful places in Tibet.
  • Etc etc Langtang? Biking and rafting? Volunteer tourism?

Pat Wherity and Team (UK) at KASIN do visit Nepal at least one time each year. They know all our poroperties and working style for last 20 years. How they express about our service and destination let us read them.

  • Montari-A privileged experience of rural Nepal, an opportunity to connect with the people whose livelihoods depend on the local agriculture in balance with nature.
  • Sited on a ridge with magnificent views in all directions, amidst an unspoilt community where life goes on much as it has done for centuries. Few places left in the world which are as unspoilt.
